According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bluegrass has 3,300 less jobs today than there were 10 years ago. This is despite the fact that the Metro area added over 45,000 new people during the same time and over 16,000 new people to the labor force. There are now over 22,000 unemployed people in the Metro – nearly the number of people in all of Woodford County, for example. Click on the chart for a larger image.
